Online analysis of jumps

With Simi OnForce, in combination with a force plate (Kistler, AMTI, Bertec), data from jumps can be acquired and evaluated.
The force plate is connected to the PC via an A/D converter to allow Simi OnForce to acquire the analog data. The program displays each jump in a force-time diagram, i.e. the force being applied at any given time is displayed which means that the different phases from the beginning to the end of the movement can be automatically identified and interpreted.
Many of the parameters such as the elevation of center of mass, acceleration impulse and maximum force are predefined. Other parameters can be calculated using the built-in functions.
The system supports counter movement, squat and drop jumps.
All the acquired and calculated data can be saved in files compatible with Simi Motion. The results can also be exported as text files and processed by other software packages such as spreadsheet or statistical programs (Excel, SPSS, Origin).
