Simi Motion Point tracking algorithms

Simi Motion includes a marker tracking technique for the automatic and reliable capture of reflective markers (dots). This method is supplemented by markerless acquisition, which is especially suitable for industrial and medical applications in which no markers (stickers or balls) can be attached. For sports applications this means, for example, that it is also possible to capture and analyze data during competitions. Using a pattern matching algorithm which has been optimized for compressed videos (digital video DV), Simi Motion can now automatically capture any objects without markers.
