Simi DataForce enables analog data from end devices such as, for example, force plates, EMG, treadmills etc., to be integrated into a Simi Motion analysis.
The software supports A/D converters from Data Translation and National Instruments. The data is digitized for further analysis
Analog signal acquisition is automatically synchronized with a video recording made with a DV camera (supported by the Simi Motion basic module) or with several DV or high-speed cameras (other available modules).
Simi DataForce module: Force plate

Raw data are processed according to the type of force plate used (Kistler, AMTI, Bertec etc.) and output, for example, as forces (N), torques (Nm) or the force application point.
The results can be visualized as a 3D force vector which can be displayed in the stick diagram of 3D kinematics or superimposed over the video images.
Simi DataForce module: EMG

Muscle activity can be displayed as raw or rectified data. Filters (low pass, high pass, band pass) and other operations (mean frequency, median frequency, (RMS), FFT, frequency analysis, envelopes) are available for further manipulation of the data.
All operations and their parameters can be saved and reused for other sets of data.
