An important chapter at Simi Reality Motion Systems has come to an end: our Sports and Life Science Motion Capture division has been closed as per April 2026.

Over many years, we had the privilege of working with athletes, teams, research institutions, and partners around the world to make human movement visible and measurable, driving better performance, scientific insight, and innovation in human movement sciences.

At the heart of Simi was a pioneering spirit: the drive to push the boundaries of motion capture technology. Simi was among the early pioneers and innovators in optical motion capture and helped shape the development of modern markerless motion capture solutions for biomechanics as the company with the first commercial markerless motion capture solution for biomechanics on the market. Our goal was always the same: combining scientific accuracy with real-world application.
